One of the biggest series of the year will be held from December 2 to 22, 2025, at the Wynn casino in Las Vegas. In total, the WPT World Championship schedule includes 78 tournaments. You will learn about all the features of the upcoming festival from our article.

Series Features

From December 2 to 22, 2025, Wynn Casino will host one of the main poker series of the year — the WPT World Championship.

Details:

The schedule includes 78 tournaments, including satellites.
Buy-ins range from $600 to $25,800.
All events, except the Main Event, have a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000 to $5,000,000.
The schedule includes tournaments not only in Hold'em, but also in various types of Omaha, H.O.R.S.E., T.O.R.S.E., 8-Game, Mix Triple Draw, Big Bet Mix and Stud 8 in combination with Limit Omaha 8.

Satellites to the series tournaments will be held on online platforms of the WPT brand, including the global poker room WPT Global.

Last year, the $10,400 Main Event, despite the lack of a guarantee, collected $23,441,600 in prize money. The winner, American Scott Stewart, received $2,563,900 for first place.

Interestingly, there were only three US representatives at the final table of last year's tournament, which speaks to the popularity of the WPT World Championship among players from all over the world.
