WPT World Championship 2026: Full Series Schedule

From November 27 to December 21, 2026, Wynn Las Vegas will host one of the largest poker series of the year — the WPT World Championship.

Details:

1. The schedule features over 85 tournaments in total, including satellites. The highlight of the event is the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Super Gold Million ($3M GTD) in the Mystery Bounty format.
2. Buy-ins range from $400 to $25,800, with the most MTTs featuring buy-ins of $1,600 or less.
3. Of the 61 events, 37 feature guarantees ranging from $50K to $5M, with Hold’em tournaments making up the majority of the schedule.  Nine MTTs offer guarantees of $1M or more; the largest event is the $1,100 Prime Championship ($5M GTD).
4. The schedule includes not only Hold’em but also events featuring various forms of Omaha, H.O.R.S.E., T.O.R.S.E., 8-Game, Mix Triple Draw, Big Bet Mix, and a Stud 8/Limit Omaha 8 hybrid.

Satellites to the series tournaments will be held on online platforms of the WPT brand, including the global poker room WPT Global.

Last year, the series’ Main Event featured a $10,400 buy-in and, despite having no guarantee, generated a prize pool of $18,277,000. The US player Schuyler Thornton won $2,258,856 for first place.

In 2026, the number of starting days for the Main Event will be doubled from four to eight. The tournament will run from December 13 to 20.

On December 1, Wynn’s poker room will host the WPT Meet-Up Game, featuring $1/$3 and $2/$5 cash games. Players can expect special guests, prize giveaways, and plenty of action throughout the day.

Poker fans will be able to follow live streams of festival events on the WPT website in a dedicated section, as well as on the official WPT YouTube and Twitch channels.
