Jason Koon Wins 13 Title Triton Poker

A record for eternity?

The best and most skilled poker players worldwide gather at Triton Poker. Winning even one event is a significant achievement in any poker player's career.

In its ten-year history, only four players have won five Triton titles (Ivey, Badziakouski, Kenney, Tang). But one player won more in 2023 alone than these players in four years. In total, the player with the most Triton titles has more than twice as many tournaments as his competitors.

In May 2025, at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro stop, American Jason Koon banked all the chips in the $150,000 8-Handed Hold 'em and $30,000 PLO Bounty Quattro tournaments, bringing his winning record to 12.

The Triton Poker stop in Budva is meaningful for Koon. Here, he captured his first title seven years ago with his best cash.

Thanks to another successful visit to Montenegro, the American now sits fourth on the all-time money list with $64M+ in winnings.

In two months, the player will turn 40. Regarding how he managed to win two tournaments after a 1.5-year hiatus, Koon mentioned:

"I'm living a better life now, in harmony with myself. Life is great away from the poker tables, which allows me to focus solely on the game when I visit the series."

Interestingly, in the heads-up matches at both events, Koon competed against friends and made deals.

In the $150,000 tournament, Jason faced Ben Tollerene and had this to say:

"I just beat the greatest poker player of all time! Heads-up, I was up against my friend and mentor. And 12 years ago, when we met, I never thought I'd one day be playing here for these amounts."

Jason faced Seth Davis heads-up in the $30K PLO Bounty Quattro. The last time the two players met at a final table was in 2016 in a $5k tournament at the Seminole Hard Rock Open, where Jason earned his first seven-figure cash: exactly $1,000,000.
