Overlay hunting at GGPoker: Over $200k of added value

GGPoker is undoubtedly having a great time now. It has organized the best festivals of the year and has great traffic indicators that approach PokerStars every day. In this article, we will check how not even at its peak, GGNetwork has avoided overlays.

GGPoker: Over $200,000 in tournament overlays

Our research team keeps looking for the best added value opportunities for our grinders. In past weeks we have studied the tables on Winning Poker Network, identifying massive tournament overlays. Last week we did the same on GGNetwork.

From September 12 to 25, 2020, we identified 41 tournaments with overlay at GGPoker for $221,182 in total.

The tournament grid at GGPoker is comprehensive; nevertheless, it's worth noting that the overlays had common denominators, so grinders can target these events next week to find extra value.

Our analysis didn't consider a particular buy-in range. Players from $25 to $1,000 can take advantage of these opportunities.

Highlights:

Almost all overlays were identified in the same tournaments on different days. For example, the High Roller Big Game Hunter ($1k buy-in) had three overlays for $38,000 (23% average);
The biggest overlays in money were in the Daily Main Event $200 and Daily Marathon, with $24,408 and $22,159 respectively, both of almost over 20% of the guaranteed prize pool;
The most important overlays in percentage were in the High Roller Big Game Hunter and High Rollers Battle Royale, with 33% and over $30k combined;
Tournament overlays are discounted from our Rake Chase promotion, so those may affect the final prize received.
