Chico Poker Network launched its loyalty program

Since June 3, 2024, BetOnline, TigerGaming, SportsBetting players have received weekly rakeback directly from the room, ranging from 10% to 25%.

The new system is called “Rise.” However, the loyalty program has a very high entry limit: at least $500 in rake per week. Also, since August 1, 2024, WPT Global has canceled rakeback payments to affiliates for players considered to be NHL and Short Deck professionals. The law's main proponent, Finance Minister Javier Silvania, emphasized that LOK would generate about 40 million Antillean guilders (over $20M USD) in commission payments a year.

The minimum cost of a license was doubled to 120,000 guilders (about $67k). The requirements for gambling sites are more stringent. There will be no more sub-licenses. Only the Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA) will issue permits.
