Brazilian player Yuri Dziwilevski dominated Event #36: $100,000 High Roller at the 2026 WSOP. By winning the event, he claimed his sixth World Series of Poker gold bracelet and the largest payout of his career: $2.84 million.
The Brazilian poker school has once again demonstrated its ability to produce elite talent capable of conquering both the biggest online tournaments and the most prestigious live events.
Yuri Dziwilevski emerged victorious in Event #36: $100,000 High Roller, collecting $2,841,432 for the win.
The tournament drew 115 entries, generating a prize pool of more than $11 million.
The accomplished Brazilian regular player is having an up streak. All three of his seven-figure cashes have come since December 2025, with this triumph marking the largest payout he has ever received.
The victory also secured Dziwilevski's sixth WSOP bracelet, moving him up to 18th place on the all-time bracelet leaderboard.
Although Yuri is primarily considered a mixed-game specialist, this time he claimed one of the WSOP's most prestigious No-Limit Hold'em titles.
Interestingly, the Brazilian had not intended to play the event from day one. Following a disappointing session in several other tournaments, he chose to skip the opening stages and enter at the final level of late registration.
After securing the victory, Dziwilevski described it as one of the most emotional wins of his career. The triumph carried extra meaning because his wife is expecting their second child, and he will soon have to leave Las Vegas without playing the Main Event.
Among the players in contention for the title were Alex Foxen, Martin Kabrhel, Sam Soverel, Biao Ding, and the Netherlands' top player, Teun Mulder.
Dziwielowski eliminated several opponents during the final table, but in the top three, Teun Mulder won several big pots in a row, leaving Alex Kulev in third place. As a result, the Brazilian entered heads-up with a stack deficit of approximately 1:3.
The key hand was when Dziwielewski got it all in with J♣10♣ against Mulder's 2♦2♣. The Brazilian captured the top pair on the 4♣6♥J♠ flop. The 10♦ turn gave him a second pair.
After that, Dziwielewski took the initiative. In one of the biggest heads-up pots, he called Mulder's bluff with 8♠5♠ on a 6♣4♣J♦3♣2♠ board with J♠2♦, gaining a stack lead for the first time.
The final hand of the tournament began with Dziwielewski limping. After Mulder raised and the Brazilian three-bet pushed, the players got it all in. Mulder showed A♠9♠, and Dziwielowski turned over 9♦9♣. The board J♣6♠5♣6♣3♠ didn't help the Dutchman; the Brazilian player gained the title.
