Viva Argentina

CoinPoker continues to expand its roster of players who represent the poker room both online and at live events.

Argentine rapper Papo MC announced his signing with CoinPoker on social media. In the post, he shared a short message — “I’m back… Did you miss me?” — accompanied by a staged video lasting nearly two minutes.

It’s worth noting that last year, the poker room began collaborating with the Argentina national football team, and Mariano Grandoli became one of the platform’s first three ambassadors in 2026.

This move highlights CoinPoker’s focused efforts to attract poker fans in Argentina. Papo MC is not only a well-known musician in the country but also a popular blogger and streamer. He has 2.58 million subscribers on YouTube and around 1.8 million followers on Twitch.

This is not his first partnership with a poker brand. For several years, Papo MC served as the first and only ambassador for PokerStars.net, a platform that offers games with play-money chips.

Who is Papo MC?

Papo MC is one of Argentina’s most recognized freestyle rappers and a key figure in the Latin American battle rap scene. His real name is Alejandro Andrés Lococo.

He gained widespread recognition through performances at major rap battle competitions such as Red Bull Batalla and the Freestyle Master Series. His aggressive style, strong stage presence, and quick improvisation skills have made him one of the most recognizable figures in the Spanish-speaking freestyle community.

Lococo is also an active poker player. Competing online under the nickname [Papo]AR, he regularly plays high-stakes cash games and tournaments. However, his most notable achievements have come in live poker events.

In 2021, Alejandro Andrés Lococo reached the final table of the World Series of Poker Main Event, finishing in seventh place and earning $1,225,000.

He achieved an even bigger milestone in 2025 at WSOP Paradise, where he won the series’ most expensive tournament with a $500,000 buy-in. The victory brought the Argentine player a World Series of Poker bracelet along with $12,070,000 in prize money.
