After getting back on ESPN in the United States this summer, the World Series of Poker has now expanded with coverage in the European, Latin American, and Asian markets as well, thanks to their new agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery.
The World Series of Poker has signed a 3-year partnership deal with the American mass media and entertainment corporation Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), per which WSOP events will be airing on WBD channels across Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
According to the press release on WDP Sports’ website, six 45-minute highlight episodes covering the Main Event (July 2–13) and the Final Table (August 3–5) will air on Eurosport across Europe and Asia, as well as on TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland, under the agreement. The programs will also be available for on-demand viewing through HBO Max throughout Europe. Additionally, Eurosport in Europe and Asia, alongside TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland, will provide live coverage of the Final Table.
On top of all that, 15-minute highlight reels of the WSOP Main Event will be airing on the Space channel in Latin America.

CBS Sports was the first TV channel to air coverage of the World Series of Poker, as early as 1973 in the United States. ESPN broadcast the great poker series every summer from Las Vegas, Nevada from 1987 to 1998 in the crucial American market. They reintroduced their WSOP program in 2002, with the addition of hole card cams, just in time for the big “Moneymaker boom” which was kicked off by Chris Moneymaker’s Main Event victory in 2003.
ESPN provided coverage of the World Series every summer until 2020, when they relinquished the rights. Live broadcast of the events was taken over by PokerGO, an online poker streaming subscription service.
In 2026, however, ESPN announced that they will be airing the WSOP this summer once again. With this new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, audiences outside the US will also be getting high-quality broadcasts of the biggest poker event series in the world.
Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP, commented on the new television deal:
“To truly grow the game, you need a broadcast stage that matches the stakes. We are incredibly proud to partner with Warner Bros. Discovery to showcase the world's biggest prize-money competition to mainstream audiences worldwide. Together, we are firmly putting the 'World' back in the World Series of Poker.”
