Rush&Cash Omaha: All about the new GGNetwork game

Fast-fold poker Omaha tables were launched on June 1 at all the poker rooms of the GGNetwork. Before that, only PokerStars offered this format. How did the players react to the new game, and what are the main features?

Rush & Cash omaha: traffic

GGNetwork introduced seven stakes (from PLO2 to PLO200) for fast-fold poker Omaha. And thanks to several reasons (leaderboard and rake structure), this new game immediately receives significant traffic.

We've tracked the performance of Rush&Cash PLO in recent last days:

From 8 am to 10 am, the Rush & Cash race awards double points, which boosts the traffic during that time.

How is regular PLO traffic in early June? According to the following table, the number of tables has been reduced a bit, especially at PLO25/50.

Even with that, such traffic indicators can now be the envy of any poker room.

Rush & Cash omaha: rake structure

One of the main problems with Omaha on GGNetwork has always been the high rake structure without a cap and a minimum purchase of 10bb.

In Rush & Cash Omaha, the minimum buy-in is 50bb, and according to our observations, only 15%-20% of the players are under 100bb.

As for the rake, it's set at 5% in all stakes with a 3bb cap. Now we can benchmark the rake structure of Rush & Cash PLO and Zoom Omaha tables at PokerStars:

At the GGPoker Network rooms, 3bb plus 1bb for Cash Drops will be collected in all the stakes.

Now let's compare the data with PokerStars:

  • At PLO10/25 GG Network charges at least twice less rake;
  • GG charges 1.6—2.9 times more rake at PLO100—PLO200;
  • At PLO50, the commissions are the same.

Of course, it should be noted that GGNetwork can compensate for higher rake with rakeback and other promotions, which is considerably more profitable than opening chests.

Rush&Cash omaha leaderboard

Starting June 1, 2020, an exclusive daily race for all fast-fold poker Omaha stakes. The prizes, according to leaderboards, are awarded as follows:

Points will be counted using the following formula:

  • 1 point per call;
  • 2 points per raise;
  • 3 points for using insurance;
  • 10 points for winning a cash drop;
  • Maximum points from one hand: 10.

Most likely, this promotion will become regular like Hold'em race.
