GGPoker Wins Online Poker Operator of the Year Award
The accolade was presented by Affiliate Grand Slam and SiGMA Americas in Toronto, Canada.
GGPoker is the #1 Online Poker Room in the World
For over a decade, PokerStars’ prime spot in the online poker world seemed to be unchallengeable. Then, in recent years, a new challenger appeared after all. GGPoker was founded. Originally, the majority of their player base came from Asia. Over the years, they expanded to Europe and other parts of the world as well.
It took them a little over 7 years to overtake PokerStars in player traffic. The dethroning finally came in June 2021. In the meantime, the GGNetwork has achieved such impressive feats as hosting the international leg of the World Series of Poker during the pandemic or singing former Stars ambassador poker legend Daniel Negreanu as their top ambassador.
Their great deeds are not going unnoticed in the industry. This Wednesday GGPoker was awarded the 2022 Online Poker Operator of the Year Award at the SiGMA Americas in Toronto, Canada.
SiGMA hosts conferences around the world in partnership with the Affiliate Grand Slam and several other companies, rewarding the best figures in the gambling industry.
The award for the Best Land-Based Operator of the Year went to the Hard Rock casino chain.
