GGTeam
In the last six months, we have witnessed how actively the GGPoker Network has engaged in developing its Team Pro. Now only the partypoker team can compete with it.
Daniel Negreanu became the first member of GGTeam in early 2020, and Dan Bilzerian was the last to join the list. Also, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Fedor Holz, and Felipe Ramos work with them. The only one who left for "personal reasons" was Bryn Kenney.
TwitchSquad
In November 2020, GGNetwork, following competitors' example, launched a streamers team led by Kevin Martin. In less than four months, six more players have joined the team, including Richard "GingePoker" Sheils and Hristivoje "AllinPav" Pavlovich, who joined this week.
GGSquad has been renamed TwitchSquad to reflect its core business.
A unique form of cooperation was chosen for the first girl invited to the team — Daiva Byrne, head of Fantastic Ladies in Poker. She is working more as a public relations specialist.
OmahaSquad
And now, after announcing the Omaholic Series 2021 with $7,000,000 guaranteed, GGPoker has taken another step towards expanding its team.
On March 9, 2021, the OmahaSquad team was announced.
Its members are:
- Fernando "JNandez87" Habegger — renowned Omaha specialist and coach.
- Sasha "PokerSasha" Liu — Taiwanese player living in Germany who prefers playing PLO tournaments. She won her last trophy on February 27 at the APT Taiwan Series.
Most likely, more pros will join OmahaSquad soon. Omaha fans should expect more innovations soon. "In recent months, the poker team has worked closely with JNandez in designing our first Omaholics Series," said John Scanlon, Director of Sponsorships and Live Events at GGPoker
